I participated in the production of the promotional video for Nexon MapleStory: Ignition.
The video was directed to dynamically showcase the game’s update content in sync with Ha Hyun-woo’s powerful rock music, using high-energy pacing and impactful visual transitions to match the intensity of the soundtrack.
The overall visual style is built around strong, linear design elements, emphasizing speed and momentum in response to the fast, aggressive BGM. A grunge aesthetic was incorporated to reinforce the raw, rebellious character of rock music, with careful consideration given to the fusion of sound and visual design.
For the final slogan, rough, brush-style typography was used to clearly differentiate it from previous designs, creating a bold and memorable impression that leaves a lasting mark in the viewer’s mind.
